Story Six

Miss S 26 yr old resident of Karachi, having symptoms of Right sided abdominal mass , increased urinary frequency, chronic constipation (constipation for many years) , depression and Anemia.On MRI 15 cm fibroid was diagnosed; gynaecologist recommended me for Myomectomy.I came to Prof Dr Imtiaz in Nov 2020 for UFE, which is a one day procedure without any cut/surgery only a needle is inserted in Artery and post UFE menstrual cramp pain felt for some hours which is properly managed by staff,I was discharged next day.Prof Dr Imtiaz and his team is very cooperative from day of UFE upto follow up.Constipation, Anemia and increased urinary frequency these symptoms has been relieving with time. Depression is subsided. Up till now it’s been 5months post UFE During this time I once had irregular bleeding for which I consulted Prof Dr Saira she prescribed me Ocps(hormonal therapy) and now periods r regular ,right sided mass is still but hopefully it will shrink more. UFE is most recent technique for fibroid treatment. Prof Dr Imtiaz and his team is best and most professional. Sir Imtiaz is no doubt a superhero for every patient may Allah bless him.
