Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad is an experienced Interventional Radiologist in Pakistan with over 25 years of clinical practice across leading academic and private hospitals in the United States and Pakistan. He holds three separate certifications from the American Board of Radiology, a qualification earned through rigorous examination and sustained clinical practice over many years.
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad completed his subspecialty Fellowship in Interventional and Vascular Radiology in 1995 at Northwestern University Chicago, a well-regarded medical institution in the United States. That training shaped his approach to minimally invasive, 3D precision guided imaging procedures that allow patients to avoid open surgery and lengthy recoveries wherever clinically possible.
Before returning to Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad served as Director of Interventional Pain and Spine Interventions and Director of Bariatric Interventions at USA Vein Clinics, Fibroid, Vascular and Oncology Centers. He was credentialed as attending staff at over 25 teaching and community hospitals across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
